I have to tutor a 4th grade but he is foreign so it is difficult for him to spell and pronounce compared to other kids. The way he remembers how to spell his spelling words is rewriting it many times on a piece of paper but he hates doing it & it takes forever. what are some ways i can teach him how to remember spelling words in a fun way? in an hour? maybe less?

i have a pretty high standard vocab but my spelling is way off
like uh-e and ahh-e etc etc with other problems.
i really want to improve! please help!
